Must-Visit: Silver Jubilee Park in Spring Mountain
Located on Silver Jubilee Park Entrance Road, Spring Mountain, QLD, this park should be on your list if you’re in the area.
Since its opening earlier this year, we had been looking forward to visiting this park. Our excitement grew as we drove through the streets, having spotted it while driving home one weekend.
A Colourful Adventure for Kids of All Ages
This brightly coloured park is perfect for children of all ages. Make sure to bring your bikes, scooters, roller blades, and furry friends for a fun-filled day.
For Younger Kids
My kids thoroughly enjoyed running along the paths and following the various directions on the footpaths. The soft surface underfoot and the board game-themed paths provided an array of activities for them to try as they made their way to the playground.
Each walkway features different activities, including walking like an emu, doing star jumps, navigating “the floor is lava,” and playing a snakes and ladders game that can engage everyone in the group. The soft hills and rope climbing areas allow kids to showcase their skills as they move from one attraction to the next.
Parents will find plenty of seating nearby, ensuring they can easily keep an eye on their children.
For Older Kids
The park boasts a fully enclosed basketball court with six full-sized courts, as well as a large oval suitable for games like football, soccer, or even tag with friends. If the weather permits, it’s also a great spot for flying kites and seeing how high they can soar.
The open field provides older kids with a chance to ride their bikes or run around with friends and family, while the flat oval allows parents to supervise their children as they play.
